Ruler of the tank contest!

These 2 decided(RD&TEX/Hybrid) decided to see who ruled the tank today.Believe it was a stalemate.Rd has harassed this guy since I got it.Believe he will have a little respect for him now.There was no real damage to either fish

jaw locking occur's when one of the fish wants to test the other if they are ready to mate, and many fish do that dance. would be cool looking hybrids if it is.

The Hartwegi I just got and the TExas cichlid I had started doing the exact same thing immediately after I added the Hartwegi. I think that they were testing dominance, but who knows? They called a truce.
