Rules of the Lounge
1. Keep it PG-13. Do not post anything you would not want a child or an employer to see.
2. All images, videos and links containing profane content are not allowed. Refrain from bypassing the language filter using symbols, otherwise, corrective actions will be taken against you.
3. All images, videos and links containing sexual/explicit content are not allowed. Posting of pornographic materials will result in permanent ban. There will be no excuses for this.
4. Drug and alcohol discussion in any form is not allowed.
5. Discussions of a political nature, not directly related to the fishkeeping hobby, are not allowed.
6. Religious discussion in any form is not allowed.
7. Trolling is not allowed. Posting inflammatory, extraneous or off-topic messages with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion will be considered as trolling and will not be tolerated.
8. Respect your fellow members. If you have an issue with a particular member, use the “Ignore” feature and move on. You may also use the "Report" button if you feel somehow offended or slighted by a particular post.
To use "Report" button effectively with site browser version, click the triangle symbol at the bottom left of a post or message. For Android or iOS app users, simply tap the post or message and choose the "Report" option.
Bear in mind the Lounge is a PRIVILEGE and not a right. Access to the Lounge can and will be taken away if you choose not to follow the rules.
Members that are banned from the lounge, will not post topics that belong in the lounge in other forums. Violations of this rule, will be spam.
Enforcing the rules of Monster Fish Keepers is at the sole discretion of the staff. Openly discussing, or challenging, these decisions is not permitted. If you feel an error was made, or you would like more information, contact the staff privately.
