Rummynose tetras eating frogbit roots

Has anybody kept frogbit with rummynose tetras. I moved some frogbit from the 15 gallon into the 75 and noticed the rummies picking and eating the roots?

not personally but my Buenos aires tetras nipple at a lot of the roots in my tanks I think plant matter is important to their diet also cant beat a snack lol

They have settled down once I handed veggie flakes to their diet

same happened with me started using algae wafers and they nibbled less lol
