hi all! First off thanx everyone here that has posted pics & told stories about their FH's I learned alot, and decieded to try to find me 1 or 2 or so. 
Well on to the story.
About a 2months ago i started my hunt for possible FH's in my area. To no aval i didn't find any for about a month of search, besides auquabid, and other onliners. Then one day during work i came accross a small store out of town. So i stoped to check into this "new" store, at least me it was. Low and behold i saw what appeared to be a FH in a back corner tank. it appeared to be roughly 2inchs maybe little bit smaller. I was so happy! Here is a pic of the little guy/gal.
Not bad IMO. for my first hahah I thought!!! This fish is now 3.5inches and not showing much color at all, but is starting to show a little and some stripes when upset.
After looking up more pics and studying more about FH's i find out this is a poor qual. i am assuming now. so i was talking to my younger bro (almost as big fish geek as me). About how i looked everywhere for over a month and this was all i found aval. Keep in mind this was finally a week before xmas.
Well lets say i haven't stoped looking for better quality. never see anything still. Well xmas eve my wife goes out to my folks house to visit my bros kids. I got stuck working so i couldn't attend. I finally get off work and get home, and i walk in and I see a bag floating in one of my 55's. I was think WTF. My bro must have talked her into getting this blackbelt my bro has, he been trying to get rid of. So im walking over to it and holy smokes it wasn't a blackbelt. It was THIS!!
So all in all, my bro came through for me at Xmas! I guess he called his old Petland boss, and had this guy/gal orderd in for me! Well i thought that was a awsome present, and no-ones ever got me any fish for xmas (besides myself )
well good ending... My question would be is this newer one considered good quality? And what kind is it? if possible to tell.
