Does anyone know how long a FX5 can run on various UPS's? I cannot find the current it draws to calculate based on a 250VA, 350VA, or 500VA UPS system. Would appreciate comments from anyone experience!

From what I understand, the VA (Voltage Amps) rating and the watt rating on the UPS can be drastically different. The Fx5 consumes about 53 watts of power. I'll have to refresh my memory in a little bit to figure out how long it would last.
I have 725va/450 watt ups that ran my eheim 2217 for about 3.5 hours, and it still had some juice left in it. The one thing I would look at that is that sometimes these ups don't give out true sinewaves and therefore your motors might not run properly.
I run a XP3 and a Magnum 350 on a cheap arse backup I purchased from Best Buy. I only get 30 minutes or so...lol
