Running Spots

So my new girl had a bit of a rough start, but she's doing well. Still a little skinny, but she is eating regularly now. She's starting to darken up a little. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this, and has a guesstimate on how long it usually takes for the spotting to stabilize?

Seen it on Leos and henleis but never on Marbles or reg Motos

Takes months I would say 3-6 months and maybe longer.

ShadowStryder: My new girl is a marble, but this is all new to me. In this post here http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297885&page=3 post # 29, sharp tooth had it happen to his pearl. And the OP's ray in that thread, which is a hyrbid, also seems to have "running spots".

csx4236: Thanks Mike! Will the running spots leave any permanent scarring (affect her pattern for life), or should it clear up given plenty of time?

Might leave little permanent damage but most will return to normal over time.
