We rushed my dad into the hospital yesterday because he was in pain, his back. My dad never complains and he was in agony, almost crying. They couldnt get the IV in because his veins are kind of stringy, they always had a problem with that, finally they go it in between his fingers to give him pain meds which did nothing. The did a cat scan, they first thought it was kidney stoned but it ended up being a disk problem. He has been working on my Aunts deck and I guess he pinched it that way. I was so scared, Ive never seen him in so much pain. He is home now, Im going over today to bring him some soup. My mom said he is on the couch with the heating pad. But its not serious, I dont mean a disk problem is not serious but he will be okay eventually.

back pain from the spine can cause so much pain that a person can pass out... it is great that they found the problem and maybe he can get help through therapy and exercise so it won't happen again.
Ya, he almost did pass out, he was in so much pain he didn't know what he was talking about, he kept saying "What number am I?" Me and my mom were very nervous about that. I still don't know why he kept saying that.
We might be going back to the hospital. He is in agony, I feel horrible for him, he's almost crying and he can handle pain. I just gave him two oxycocets. Hopefully that helps. It's a lot but I can't stand seeing him in so much pain. But we will probably be taking him back. Nothing is working.
