I had my wife stop by a LFS about an hour away from me since she was near there anyway. I am looking for Iodotropheus sprengerae (Rusties). The guy said they were out at the moment but do carry them. What is a puzzle to me is he said they were one of the few fish that they kept in brackish water. So are there more than one species of fish called Rusties? Do you think he was mistaken? Am I mistaken thinking that would be bad on the fish? Do I just need to not deal with that LFS?

I am pretty sure he meant brackish water as he mentioned puffers as being the other fish the keep in that water. We do use the Rift Lake recipe of Baking Soda and Salts for our cichlids. Also we have a tank set up with Puffers in it that is brackish. So thats why I was so confused to why they would have Rusties in brackish water.
