I have a healthy, beautiful, South American Redtail Catfish. Approx 1 1/2 years old. Price was $50 when I purchased it at 2" long. Approx size is now 24". Currently being housed in a 125 gallon tank. I was planning on building a large indoor pond for him, but at this point that won't be possible. Please only serious inquiries by a dedicated hobbyist with a much larger aquarium or indoor pond of at least 500 gallons, preferably more. I had posted it for sale for 3 weeks, but received no replies. I don't really want to get rid of it, but as I cannot build the pond, I would really like to find him a new, comfortable home. It will accept food by hand and is really a nice fish.

If you are interested please reply or call me at 304-261-7697. I prefer pickup but would be willing to deliver or meet half-way, depending on distance.

He could live in my 200 gal for now with my 14in RTC. :)

That would not put him in really any better situation than he is in now. Plus the bioload on your tank would be awful if you already have a 14" RTC. I'm hoping someone with a very large setup (not that 200 is small) will reply, where he will have room to swim and especially turn around.

I suggest my tank until I get a bigger one
When do you think you will be getting a bigger one, and what size will it be? JOC-how often do you feed the RTC you now have and is that the only fish in the tank?

Im actually negotiating a few trades or purchases now. Im really trying to get a 300 gal or bigger. I found a guy that wants to trade a 180 for his octagon shaped tank. And yes he is the only one in the tank and gets fed every 3rd day.
