Do they only eat algae? (do they eat other fish's waste?)
What happens if theres not enough algae in my tank?
I have sand, is this a problem?
What temp/Ph do they need?
And any other info i need to know.. Thanks =D

they sell sinking algae pellets to be sure theat they eat enough try locating those at ur lfs. One a day should be more than enough. Sand shouldnt be a problem and temp could be anywhere from 74 to 80 and ph 6.5 to 7.5 and as long as ur tank is 40 gal+ you should be fine

Not all eat algae, but most common plecos do to some degree. Do you know what kind you have? Most are omnivores, but depending on the fish they can be vegetarians, carnivores and even wood-eaters

If it's a common they can grow pretty large too, and create a ton of waste, but no, none eat it..........

No plecos eat waste. There are literally 1000s of differnt species. It would be a great help tp you, and any1 else thinking of keeping them, to research them before you acquire. They range in size from a couple of inches to well over 2 feet. There are 2 great places for info; planet catfish or plecoworld.org. Good luck.
