I wanted to add some catfish to my tank that are from South America, as I have three pimelodus pictus. I was just wondering which catfish from S. America are most seen in lfs's. Besides that is, pim. pictus, tsn, rtc, striped raphael, and all plecos. Thanks.

thanks a lot guys

yea ive seen them occasionally but im looking for something that would be a little more active

Juruense are pretty common I think. Eclipse cats are good, portholes.... um Bolt cats aren't seen in LFS but you can get them.

Bumble bee cats or giant bumble bee cats, eclipse or sun cats, it really depends on the sizing your wanting but if they are for the 55 or the 75 I would stay away from any red tail or red tail hybrids, tsns, juruense, or planiceps. The Lima shovelnose might be a good shot for ya since they don't exceed 2ft or a marble catfish but they get much thicker bodied and around 2ft
