S#&*- i dropped a rock in my tank!

i was taking some 1-1/2" rocks out of my empty tank and dropped one and chipped the bottom glass panel. the chip is about as round as a bb and maybe 1/16" into the bottom glass that is 1/2" thick. its about 6" in from the back and 10" from the side. what should i do? put like a 12" patch panel of glass over it? put foam under the bottom panel when i set it up? maybe have it filled in like a car windshield? its a 72"x18" piece of glass. any suggestions?

No cracks? I would put a piece of glass on top and just glue it...

both glasses need to be perfectly clean before glueing..

yep happens to the best of us.I just accidentally whacked the front panel of my tank the other day with a rock that left a ding and almost started to splinter,I am lucky,as are you....

yeah i have way bigger chips out of the corners of my 125 with no probs, i was just worried because of all the pressure on the bottom panel.
