Yesterday, I came across a 6" S. Leytensis A.K.A. Philippine Pond Turtle (I know right :) 100% sure it is) along with 4"C.Dentata. I got each for 30$ (I live in the philippines). I placed the leytensis in a 30"x15"x15" plastic bin while I placed the Leaf in a 18"x6x"x6" for temporary housing. They stay outside my house in regular Philippine climate (with the leytensis being in shade while the leaf getting good sun_ The problem is that both have not fed yet. Although 2 days is really short, I'm really worried about this because of the value of these species especially for the leytensis, with it being Critically Endangered. Any help guys? BTW, is there anyone here that has worked with S. Leytensis before. I could use some help since the only tips on its care on The Annual Magazine of the Turtle Survival Alliance

Taking care of the Cyclemys should not be a problem, but it seems like leytensis are not that easy to keep. There have been some imports to Europe, but many specimens died of dehydration soon after.
I think you are taking good care of it as long as you keep the enclosure shaded, 50/50 land/water and keep the turtle single. Try mango, banana and other sweet fruits as well as fish, shrimps and insects as food. If you can get your hands on live food, maybe it will start eating.

When they were imported for the first time, specimens were offered for about 1500 € each, then they dropped to 800 €. Now I haven't seen them offered for a while, but most probably they will be cheaper. The reduction in price happened when people found out that they are not that rare if you search in the right place and that they are not easy to care for.

True, if someone offered me for free 2.6 leytensis I would accept without a doubt but I aint paying more then like 100-150 for one..if I tryed them at all. Cyclemys on other hand is a very atractive turtle, have a male dentata and will get me a nice small group one day, no doubt about it:D As I will with S. crassicolis, they are owesame, cant wait to see how my female looks like with a boy friend and several girl friends.

I was just wondering how much are they in foreign countries??

Last time I saw them available in the U.S., which was several years ago, they were asking $2200-$2400 for each of them.

Good luck with the turtles.
