I recently puchased this blower. The PVC pipe I am using is 2" diameter, and the lenght is 10 feet. I added a T connector at the end, and added 5 feet on the connector ends, and placed the cap on each end. I drilled holes to fit the air valves, placed O-rings to make it air tight, and also added some silicone to the edges to keep the air and the pressure in. I have a total of 9 air valves total right now, and am only using 5 right now. The first two air valves have a good strong air pressure and. On the T connector, the curve is getting good air close to the end. I am using plastic air stones. BUT the first two air valves at the curve of the T connection have a very weak pressure that air is barely coming out. It is coming out, but very weak, almost like a trickle. On the other end where the T connector, the air pressure lowers when the lenght of the tube goes to 30" deep. When I raise this hose at 24 inches, the air pressure resumes. The other hoses is about 5 feet long, but the depth is only about 18 inches. However, the ones with air trickle is only about 16 inches deep, and the aire pressure is barely coming out. Any other ideas that I need to check or know about? I am thinking of going back to the air pumps using the diaphragm. Thanks in advance.

Might have silicone or debris in your air controll valves. THat large of a blower on that small of a manifold should be producing tons of air through out. Check for clogs or blockage. I had pvc shavings from drilling and tapping that caused me some low pressure issues on a few outlets.

Thanks for the follow up. I found the culprit. The airstones were clogged. I replaced them, and voila, air pressure like no other. Maybe the airstones were out too long and it clogged up the pores. I will open one of the ends to push out some of the debris also. I don't want any blockage to happen. Thanks again for the tip :)

I don't want to sound stupid but what are you using the blower for.(They can have many purposes)

Sponge filters, and undergravel systems. Also aeration for my three tier propagation tank. I have more than a few juvenile mangrove jacks and peacock bass. What other purposes is available?
