1: The C70 is junk....You say "not in the same class". I am assuming you are talking about the fact that it isn't a coupe? Or the fact that it is a wagon? Let's look at stats, shall we?

2010 s2000 0-60: 6.1
2009 350z 0-60: 5.6 manual, 6.0 auto
2001 V70R 0-60: 5.5

Let me know if you need help with the math.

2: You don't know much about Japan, do you? Here is a hint....it's an island. WITH NO NATURAL RESOURCES TO MAKE STEEL WITH. Why do you think their cars are so cheap? Lowest bidder.....

1. Yeah, the fact that it isn't a coupe, and the fact that it is a wagon are the same thing. But yes, that's what i mean by class.

2. Okay, Japan has no steel reserves... WOW! How many Hondas we get in America are made in Japan? Steel is obviously something they would have to import to do any type of industrial work. You don't know much about Sweden do you? They don't have much to make rubber with, being you know, not tropical and all, they're not made from entirely synthetic materials yet. Does that mean their tires are junk? Nah, they import them. Do you think that every piece that goes into a Volvo you can buy here is produced, harvested, whatever in Sweden? Even Volvos bought in Sweden i'm sure aren't made entirely of Swedish parts.

There are more...but I'm tired of surfing around. Are we talking about the same thing though?? Reliability vs. longer lasting?? I tend to think reliability overshadows longest lasting because there are so many factors that go into how long a car lasts since such a long timespan has to occur. Those things have to be taken into consideration.

Who cares how long the car last if you spent more on upkeep than you did the original car, ya know?

1. No, a coupe is a two-door. There are wagon-coupes. (Look up the 1956 Chevy Bel Air Nomad.) If you want to stick to sedan, throw in the S60R (0-60 5.4). Or, if you want to stick to the coupe, throw in the C30 T5. (0-60 6.2)

2. I see you have trouble understanding how cars are made, so let me go slow. Steel makes up the entire chasis/frame of the car. (Sigh, ok, since you are going to complain about not all cars being made from steel, and bring up Morgans, I'm referring to steel-frame cars here). Steel is what gives the car it's structural integrity. It also is what makes up the majority of the engine. Rubber tires is something all (to my knowledge) car manufacturers import. By importing crap, light-weight steel, you get a crappy, lightweight car, as well as an extremely weak engine. The problem isn't the importing of materials, though. This is where you missed my "lowest bidder" comment. The problem is importing the cheapest material you can, hence the low price tag on the jap cars.

TBH, I don't know. I was referring to how long they last (miles, years, etc). I'm not sure what they mean by "reliable", seeing as they are talking about cars that are only several years old. Interesting read though....

The "who cares" comment is true....I'm not sure if it was directed to me though, seeing as the volvo article I posted talks about how the man has only had to rebuild his engine.

350Z is more powerfull better looking, actually sounds like a sports car. I've never been a huge fan of the S2K. So my vote is for the Z.

I thought the Z's sound throatier....But the only Z I have heard on a regular basis is my friend's, and he has some deep-ass pipes on it.
