sa/ ca cichlid for 55gal.

What the biggest size sa or ca cichlid or group of cichlids that can live in a 55 gal and grow full size. I know convicts ,firemouths green terrors, and jack dempsey can all stay in a 55. I would like cichlids similar to thier size .

Not all of them in a single 55G tank. Cons and FM are fine but GT and JD will quickly out grow 55G.
I had GT, Gold Severum and Choclate chiclid for about 6 months.. they out grew my tank and had to upgrade to 125G..
 
Im not being rude but this isnt true I had a full growen jd pair luve in a 40 gallon for yrs without a problem so I doubt a single gt or jd will out grow a 55.

I have a large JD in a 55 he is just fine,
Would like to put a couple more fish with him but he us too aggresive .

I was thinking of possibly a jd and a comvict and some smaller dithers to help with aggression.

Please read closely before u make comment. I said "not all of them in 55 G". Of course single specimen will be fine.

i have a firemouth and 2 JD in my 55 gallon of course not full grown yet

Nice,I was thinking of a ebjd , I got a 2.5" jd pair with 4" black ghost knifefish and 1" festae for now till I set up 125 and 210
