SA/CA Cichlid question

Quite a few years ago while growing them out I had a male Parachromis Dovii spawn with two females in the same 6x2x2, he had a favourite but would frequently spawn with the remaining one , sometimes both would have fry at the same time and the spawns would move between the females so throughout the day either one could have the majority of the fry. The females however hated each other.

I had a an A. rivulatus harem (1 male 4 females) where the male mated with 3 females. It wasn't simultaneous, but close enough that I'd have fry from 2 females in the tank at the same time.

I currently have a H. nicaraguensis harem (1M / 3F) which hasn't bred since last summer or fall. Never had more than one batch of fry at a time, but the male goes back and forth with the different females and typically at least 2 if not all 3 females show breeding colors..

Definitely. Witnessed with blue acaras on several occasions. Although i couldnt say that it was precisely the same time, but batches of fry would overlap very closely sometimes.
