SA/CA Cichlids and PowerHeads

How much do they enjoy the water movement and can to much water movement be negative?

The reason im asking is that i just installed another PowerHead (Hydor Koralia 4) in my 150 gal and this thing is insane.

It is rated to move about 1200 gph but it seems more like 10 000 gph.
Some of the fish seem to enjoy it especially my Convicts and Clown Knife, the JAG and GT not so much.

Will the other fish come to like it or is it to much movement?

You can put it on a timer so it doesn't disturb them all day and night. For the most part, a little current can be healthy.

If you point the output across the back wall, you can keep all the flow but it will be more diffused. May not bother them quite so much...

I have it setup so that it blows from the back right corner over to the (bottom) left front corner.My sump output is in the left back corner blowing towards te right back corner and the FX5 is also there in the middle of it all.
If this makes any sense
