SA/CA cichlids

Anybody have sucess in mixing a motoro ray with large CA/SA cichlids? I have it in my koi tank now but it will outgrow it soon and that is the only other place I can put it in which is large enough. Thanks

Only non-aggressive ones.. Such as Geophagus, Severums, Cichla, Uaru..

I wouldn't mix them with any aggressive or territorial cichlids like O's, Jacks, or GT's..

i have mine with a few A. heckelli, just keep in mind that eventually any cichlid you put with rays will eventually become lunch

I wouldnt do it because eventualy it would get really hard to get food to the rays even if you did hand feed them. My Os would learn fast where to get an extra piece of shrimp. I would only put mine, if I were to with less agressive cichlids that cant swallow a piece of shrimp I cut in one bite so maybe it might get one piece but it would have to deal with that piece for a while. Discus are techinically cichlids though so I guess I am doing it.
