More fish=more water changes, keep it to the minimum, 4-6?
I would put female festae, female red mota, Male Escondido carpintis, female salvini, and Male Vieja Syn.

well it depends on which ones you decide to go with. what did you have in mind?
Was thinking a single oscar, single jaguar, single jack dempsey,5 or 6 pictus cats, and possibly a black aro.If I don't go with an aro,I might have 2 oscars, and add a single festae.I'm also going to try and get all females of the fish mentioned.I'm just not sure if this will be too many with aggression issues for a 180.

That's not going to work. The oscars will get wooped by the jag and dempsey, and those two will probably fight each other. The aro could get beat up to. Not to mention that's a massive bio-load.

That's what I thought.What about a pair of oscars,aro,pictus,and 3 or 4 tinfoil barbs?

again, a large bio-load but with a lot of filtration you could pull it off. the only problem would be the oscars... if you have to males they will be very aggressive to each other.

I'm using one eheim 2262 and one 2080.If I left the aro out, which I will probably do,I don't think a 6' tank big enough for 1 for long term, what else could be added?Possibley a severum?
