SA cichlid combo for 500g .. ideas?.. =]

Hi folks, nice to be here .. been lurking on this forum for a while
but didnt have courage to post much :p

Just wondering if the following would make a nice cichlid
combo in a big 500g acrylic tank ..

I be honest Im quite new to cichlids .. have a frontosa and
2hap mooris atm but thats all so no flaming if i get this combo wrong
hehe xD

I especially like these ones .. these are my 1st options :

Jags
Green terrors
Jack Dempseys
Flowerhorns
Convicts

I also like these but not sure if they would go together ..

Red Devils
Doovis(I guess this is a no no unless a female?)

Also i would like to stock some other decent size fish
that would get along but i wonder what you can suggest for me? ... :D

You could propably stock all those cichlid (except the Dovii and FlowerHorn) together in a 500gal.
For some other fish you could add 7 or so silver dollars with them.

Just make sure you have a top notch filter system in place.
Good luck and post some pics when you get started.
 
what are the planned dimensions of the tank? i'd get some geos (orange heads and altifrons), some psittacus, severums, uarus, and pikes
or go CA and do cubans, red terror, salvini, dempsey's, some big vieja

Will definetly youtube that list Sean as havent seen many of
those cichlids before ... oh tank size is 12f L, 3f W 2f H :DD

This may be a silly question but would any
dwarf(timid?) snakeheads be compatible with these kind of cichs??
