SA Redtail eat smelts?

Does anybody feed their red tails smelts you buy from the super market?

Nice. I wasn't sure if I could feed mine smelts yet. He is only about 7-8 inches long.

should be eating about half a fillet at a gulp. dont worry it will be a foot in a month or 2 and soon after that it will eat you out of house and home.

LOL cant imagine feeding that lot, mine are enough, and I just have 2 limas a Juruense, some big tinfoils, a big pleco and 2 full grown oscars, and they eat TONS alone lol.

bass i hope you are a good fisherman so you can catch most of there food for them. i know canada has good northern fishing, just go get a couple 4 footers to fillet up and everything will be gravy.
