Sabertooth at LFS

OK I have a couple of questions for you ST people.
A LFS has several 4" ST's at $29.00 and a few 8" monsters for $85.00.

The questions?

Is this a reasonable price?

Any special needs I should know about other than needing a species only tank?

How large do they eventually get and how quickly?

Would it be better to get the small guys and grow them out or go with the bigger dudes?

Understand that the tanks are not set up yet nor am I running right out to get ANY of them. This is all in the research stage at this point. I know they have had the bigger ones for at least two weeks so theres no hurry.

Yes I know some of this can be looked up and I'm in the process or doing so but I'd rather hear it from the horses mouth so to speak...from ST owners.

OH...before I forget....MODs...feel free to relocate this post if required...

Get pictures so we can ID them and you'll get better more accurate info.
My first answer would to be go for the big guys, but I'll wait to see what kind they are.

I probubly could have but I'm an old fart and keep forgetting that my cell phone has a camera on it...lol

They have all the proper (latin) names listed as well I just didn't bother taking notes but rest assured I will before actully getting one if I even do. This is the place we get most of our frozen food from so we usually go in at least once a week.
