Sacramento Perch

Anybody keeping a Sacramento Perch? I think they're sweet and they remind me of Nile Perch.

It's tough to obtaining a Sacramento Perch legally for aquarium purposes but very few people has them.

I figured... it wish i could find a stocking company that sold them but i doubt their's one.

there was a guy on my Local CL was selling them. I email him but no reply, Guess Ill have to go up to sac and catch some. Reminds me more of a Chinese Perch/ marble Datnoid

Like sicksauce said they look like a marble datnoid and they get about 2 ft at the most

Definitely a monster species to check out. These grow to 24" and 8 lbs.

im sure it's illegal to keep one as a pet but ppl catch and eat the perch so I think fine to catch n transport. Correct if im wrong but im not aware of any ban on fishing for sac perch.
