I m new as no one might know me
i currently have a 70G tank
with 2xtinfoil barb and 1 blue acara male(Had a female but she eventually died cause she cut open her lips)
And today in the morning i so my tank was very cloudy and found my blue acara on his backside underneath the filter he might be dead but his gill is slowly opening and shutting i have put him in a quarantine bucket and is still not moving should i give up hopes and he was one of the best's fish ive had always active and funny and was the first one to come to the tank when he so me.I proper miss him now,hope he is still alive let a few hours go,putted him in the bucket with a fluval 2 plus filter and air pump and putted in a heater.

but if you feel like hes truly going to die and dont want him to suffer what you can do is buy clove oil this puts the fish to sleep but the right amount of dose can kill him in his sleep u can buy clove oil at the store and if you do decide to go down that route then i suggest you medicate him in a bucket PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH HIM .take him to a fish store theyll know whats wrong and what he needs hope my advice can be usefull
