I have been looking for Delhezi bichirs near me for a very very long time.. I finally got one about 3 weeks ago... well last week I put him in a tank with my 9 severums and my senegals..

Delhezi 2" and thin... Senegals 3" not so thin..

Needless to say I think you know where im going.... My senegals I fear ate my pricey Delhezi... DAMN IT JIM!!!!

I pulled the driftwood out, looked in the sand.. nothing.

Now to look for another Delhezi of the same size as the senegals... UGH.. I'm sad...

Sorry that happen I had a very cheap fish eat some very expensive fishes I still kick myself in the head for putting them togeher

My experience with senegals is they are the slower, less aggressive bichirs... This little guy I have is a MONSTER eater, I think he's even taken a swat at one of my severums... Honestly, I think I'll see if my LFS will take him in on trade... I really didn't plan for another fish to have his own setup... It's irritating, because I was so glad to be back into bichirs, I've really just lost my desire now with this guy... Lets be honest, a very hungry, very active Senegals is a GREAT thing to have, for once I'm irritated by this though and just not committed.

Sorry for the loss. Hope your next delhezi is your best one yet.

I'm trying to rehome my senegsls this weekend, I noticed he is snapping at my severums, I won't stand for that. I'm afraid it won't work between it and my flowerhorn.

Ugh! !! Bicher problems lol
