like it says i had a sad day in the fish house. affter 2 days with a power cut and trying to keep up with water changes i lost 3 of my cats. one 12" tsn and two 10" tsn x marbled pims. gutted

Damn that sucks! I'm sorry for your loss. I have about 8 bubble boxes for when the power goes out. There about $7 at Walmart and take 2 C batteries but they last up 38hr before a battery change. Invest it worth it man! But once again so sorry :[

yeah those bubble boxes r great. we use one when we go fishing to keep bait alive in a bucket. sry bout ur loss

I'm so sorry to hear. :( I hope something like this does not happen again.

I'm so sorry you lost your fish. This is my nightmare. I've got to find out what they're talking about with the bubble boxes. I have an inverter for my car, but that's about it. I'm thinking about buying a computer backup battery that switches on the moment the power fails in case I'm not home to start everything up.

that sucks. can someone tell me what a bubble box is or the brand name im trying to google it all im getting are pics of bubble boxes and a gold fish

Sorry to hear of your losses Matt, especially hard when it comes to the pim's that have so much personality... About 'bubble boxes'? they're portable D-cell battery powered air pumps used to keep live bait alive in buckets when fishing. Check out the following: Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's and CatfishConnection websites, or your local Fishing tackle store or bait shop. I use the Marine Metal Products "Double Bubbles" (2 air lines and air stones) and the single ones too for fishing as well as for back-ups in case of power outages.

Most fish shops can supply Battery powered air pumps.

I recently bought a generator for just such a problem, it can supply a constant 3KW continuous on one tank of fuel and was not all that expensive to buy.
