i just had to put down my jar....

after a failed attempt to comm some fish, he ended up being the loser....

looked like he might make it, but started doing the floating thing after a couple days....and was unable to stay right side up....

the price aro comm attempts pay...IS HIGH.....

It's really sad when you have to kill your own fish, I've seen some Jardini Arowana shoals go very bad, but some have turned out nice. Best of luck with your other aros.

I'm sorry to hear that, Rich. If I happen to know you tried to comm your Jar with him, I would advise against it. I comm him with two other aros before, and had to seperate them by the next morning. The other two didn't stand a chance with him. He beated the craps out of both, HIM against two, and he still came out a winner

i just lost a 11in jar that after 6 months in a rather mellow mixed tank (SA cichlids, tsn, gator gar, 20in silver aro) decided he needed to fight everyone and by the time i got home from work he was floating on his side at the top. it looked like he had gone to war with the aro and gator gar and come out the losing end.
