So I came home from work to my male stingray in the death curl, dead today. He didn't want to eat this morning, but didn't seem to be in any kind of distress other than not eating. His color was normal, he didn't look especially skinny, and he had eaten as recently as last night before lights out. I just did a 30% wc on sunday. I don't know what might have caused it... Any ideas?

sorry for your loss...:(

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.. i would feel devestated.:(

It looked fine when I left for work at 8:15am, and was dead and curling when I got home at 6:00pm. I don't know how long it was curled for, since noone was home during the day today.

My female retic is now hiding in the back of the tank, against the glass. She hasn't moved from that spot for about 3 hours now. She's still breathing fairly normally as far as I can tell, and she is fat and good looking, now disk curl. I'm doing another water change just to be safe. Hopefully she's just feeling shy right now, and nothing is wrong with her.

Any opinions or thoughts?

Must of been something inside him, sorry for the loss...
