i came home from work today and found my wolf fish dead. had him for about a week, the first couple day he was eating than like two days ago he stop eating. hes about 3", and not just that i discoverd ick in my tank. not sure what caused it, i have 7 clown loach in there and their cover with ick. the wolf fish didnt look like it had any ick on him.

Sorry to hear that. It is normal that the CLs showed ich first. They are always the first ones to show ich. Have you started treating it yet? The last two times I had ich (both times from newly introduced clown loaches) I raised my temp. to 86 degrees and added 4 table spoons of aquarium salt for every 5 gallons. It was very effective both times and I had no casualties.
thats terrible to hear... it is amazing how fast ick and then death some times occur, but often ick is just a sign that fish are unhealthy... almost all tanks have ick it is just that most healthy fish do not get it...most likely something else killed it...
That sucks man, My old clowns used to get whitepsot all the time, thats why i don't keep clowns any more.
