Well, the day has come I had to get rid of one of my first African Cichlids. He was just way to aggressive and since he was an undertermined species and more than likely hybrid, he had to go.
I traded him at the pet store for some bloodworms. The girlfriend said that he looked so sad when she was walking away from him.
He knew something was wrong because as soon as I put him in the breeder box to seperate him for easier retrieval he lost all his color and went dull and refused to move.
He fathered 2 sets of fry but I just can't deal with him beating on my pure bred male...
It's kind of sad.
