hi everyone just joined MFK and love it. Recently i have just purchased two juvenile flowerhorns, around 3 inches, and one of them is real aggresive towards the other one is this normal for them to act out against each other like this, they are currently in 100 gal tank with a green terror, jaguar, and a green texas cichlid which all get along together great which one another. should i see if they will start to get along or should i put the weaker one in my 55 gal tank for now!!!??? any responses would be very helpful

its best for ur flowerhorn to be kept in a separate tank and give them some space a 90 gallon tank for your two flowerhorns with lot of hiding places provided for the weaker one to hide would b nice or place them with dividers
The problm with flowerhorns is that they tend to grow very fast and thanx to their territorial behaviour ,are very aggressive so tank mates are not not appreciated unless breeding or a parrot can be placed to increase the kok and add more dominance to your flowerhorn

All your fish will get murder by the flowerhorn once it grew to that killing stage. Separating them would be a good time now...

Its an old post. badrobot and Southpaw89 have been reviving a lot of dead threads.

Wow, I didn't notice the date. Ahahahaha, and why the hell would you revive a thread that old? What's the point...:irked:

I don't know, a lot of the recent Flowerhorn and Other Cichlid Crosses threads are old threads so check the date.
