Bad:Last owner release in a native pond:banhim:
A oscar was fished in the morning on that day :banhim:
Its a lil ugly when viewed in tank

Good: Will give to my friend since he is jealous of my fh :P
Will go fish again in that pond for some more nonnative fish :D

LOL it's native to there.

http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebindex/texascichlid.htm

The only cichlid family member found in the United States (naturally), Herichthys cyanoguttatus is a wonder in its behavior and coloration while spawning and rearing its young. Further south in its range (in Mexico) this is a food and game fish. In "el norte" its distribution is marked where water temperatures don't fall below 57 F. Happily the lower parts of the Rio Grande and Pecos Rivers have some warm water feeder springs that flow year round.

OMG really O_O
but in a pond ?
If so im ready to catch more ^_^

Could have been moved by somebody especially if you caught a oscar there (not native) but not that uncommon to catch those near you. I'd be fishing for them all the time if I were you. Any fish you catch in the wild needs to be dewormed and treated for parasites though. I hope you didn't mix him with any of your fish yet.
