Okay, Here's how it goes.

I was cleaning out my filters in my 100 gallon, stocked with my 2 cichla pairs along with about 40 fingerlings (3-5" pbass') then found that I had a party to go to, so I dropped everything that I was doing and decided to get ready for my party. After I got ready I looked at my 110 gallon (6ft) and it was crystal clear with just "1" pump running (mag 350) oppose to my 2 magnums and 2 emperors that I usually have running. Since my tank was still crystal clear and my magnum is rated for 100 gallons I figured that it was enough filtration to cover for one night so I decided to go to the party w/o my other filtrations

When I came home and I was DEVASTATED. :(:(:(
I came home at 2am to this sight...

Sorry, I started cleaning it out before I thought about taking pics...

Here are some pics after I took it out...

I lost my Male and 30+ babies!
I managed to keep 2 of my fingerlings alive and my female.

I'm going crazy right now. I couldn't even sleep when I got home and couldn't think this whole day....:(:(:(

I think that's my end of my cichla career. :thumbsdow:thumbsdow:thumbsdow:wall::wall::wall:

sorry for your loss but you can't blame anyone but yourself. you should have known that Magnums aren't meant for bio unless you have the bio wheel pros hooked up to the output. your main bb colony was on your Emporer wheels which you didn't plug in.atleast there's alot more orinos running around down there!

Sorry for the loss man, but can't let it get you down. We all make mistakes.

Yeah, There is no one to blame but myself.

But, Thanks for the remorse!

I should have at least plugged in my emperor.
Man... One small mistake leads to a big disaster.

And there is no wild orinos in hawaii. I wish there were though.
I'd have millions of them in my pond.

dammmmm!!! I am extremely sorry for your loss.. this hurts!
