Well I post a while ago that I got a Tems to go with my Orino... I came home from work the other day, and my Orino was upside down on the bottom of the tank with a tail sticking out of his mouth; some how he got a red hook in his mouth and that is as far as it would go (sad face). The plus side, the red hook was still alive and relatively unharmed, and I was able to get it out.

Thankfully, this is the time of the year that small peacock bass are in season. I picked up this killer green bass with red eyes, not 100% sure what it is (my Orino was a little bit bigger than him when I got him, but looked similar), and the little guy is a Xingu, and is going to look amazing when he grows up.

Since adding the school, I have been over feed (as I didn't know how much to feed), so today I cleaned both filters and did a couple big water changes, so the water isn't 100% clear right now.

Wow I'm just really surprised that the red hook actually survived! Lucky little guy. But that sucks A TON, possibly one of the worst ways to lose a bass... But in this case you got a little lucky the fact both fish didn't die and out of the two it was the one getting eaten! Your tank still looks STUNNING I think the red rooks look really well schooling. As well as IMO I think Pbass look well with gars. Not the end of the world right you still have some stunning Pbass left!
