I found my albino bichir up in the top of the ship that the frontosa use as a hide out... i had to shake and turn the ship upside down until the little guy fell out of there.. he had a tear in his stomach and he was dead.. i could have sat down and cried because i really enjoyed him more then most of my fish.. he was certainly a different kind of personality and so much fun to watch..last night he ate so hardy..he was thriving and growing ... but now i just want to warn others to be really careful about what you have in the tank with the bichir.. WHY they make something so cool for the fish to hide in with such rough crevices and rough nooks and crannies inside is stupid..he probably moved to quickly and spiked himself on the sharpness.. well i can't live with out one so i will look for another soon but I will keep it in its own tank for awhile..
