where my cichla are
Houdini, the MRTC, that wolf3101 left behind when he left here in March 2008, died last week. 1 year ago he ate a plastic plant and survived it eliminating itself from his body through the skin on his belly. this time he ate a bunch of rocks and didn't survive. :(

sorry to hear aboutyer loss

what is a mrtc btw?

Marble sailfin/RTC hybrid my exhubby used to call them that. i thought it had been generally adopted on MFK too.

sorry for your loss... you just never know what they will get in to.. some never touch it and others do..

seems like spring brings out the worst in my fish.. it was last spring that the plastic plant came out of Houdini's belly.

this year Houdini died, and then my neighbors sprayed insecticide on the side of their house, by my bedroom. and the fumes came into my bedroom and killed my "Ae." Rivulatus.

now i don't want to put any other fish in the 135.. i'm afraid i'll never get it clean enough for a fish to survive in it again. i will start it back up again after i clean it very well with vinegar, it will be going on the black stand after i get Pinky and the knives into the 210 i'm buying tomorrow.

the big cichla are going to go with Pinky into the 210, the medium cichla are going to move to the 150. and the brat Orinos will move into the 135. and i'll suddenly have a few tanks for sale.. lol.
