my mr puffa has been sumped until new fish only tank found!
i rescued mr puffa from lfs looking very thin and unhappy he had been there for six weeks.
they did not know what type of puffer he was, lots of research later he is an immaculate! rare i read!
he is fat and eating great now ! thats the prob!! two shrimp, lots of crabs, lots of snails three corals and possibly a dart fish!!
we live in aberdeenshire scotland!
cant face taking him back to horrid lfs!! anyone any ideas??

setup another tank for him. Run a species only tank, or get a tank large enough to handle him and another fish or so. 125 gallon is what i would shoot for.

a puffers diet is made up of invertebrates and they are not reef safe. I would keep Mr. puffa and let him eat whatever is left. They are great fish
