Sad story I heard...

I was at the LFS one day and talking to the guy that runs it and he was telling me about these little 1" convicts they had in thier tank. He said that some kid brought them in because they were killing his RTC. Well I thought ok probably still got time this fish has got to be small. Come to find out the fish was a 13" RTC in a 75 gallon (which I doubt will ever get an upgrade) and this kid claims that the RTC was getting killed by these stupid little 1" convicts...This made me really sad . Just wanted to share this silly story.

I was educating my LFS (crappy one) today.

They had a card that claimed TSNs only get 12"
Shortly after, they removed that card.

I try sometimes and I get + = the face they give me, lol.

I would feel bad for the rtc, but i just find that hilareous. That cant really happen, ya know. How could that poor rtc not eat them in one night? He would gulp 7 in one bite. I just dont believe it and that is what is funny, not that the rtc is getting "beaten up"

Not only getting beaten up but "killed" by the little monsters lol. I find it hard to believe also.

The ps that I work at has that same set of cards I bet! There are errors on some of them but they are handy for the most part and all of us know to tell people that that is not accurate. green yellow and red lights for the idiot proofing. Pictures are the best part so that people sorta can tell what fish they are looking at.

As for convicts killing the cat......There must have been something wrong first. Convicts are feeders most of the time at our store. We have four or five people that 'sell' them to us by the bag full.
