Hi guys I haven't posted here in a while. I hate to say but I'm selling off all my monsterfish in my 450 gallon due to bad economy and lack of time on taking care of too many tanks. So I've decided to only keep one tank as it's much easier for me to maintain one large tank. I've also sold my 225 gallon tank to a friend but will be keeping only a few fish from the current stock. My plans are keeping the RTG, Tigrinus, Severums, Datnoides and Eartheater cichlids and will be moving them all into the 450 gallon. Every other stock is for sale. Anyhow I just wanted to stop by and see how everyone is doing. This week will be a very busy week for me as I have to empty and prep the 225g for it's departure...

Sucks to hear.

Yeah, sucks to hear that man. Hope all works out for you.

iv just had to do the same, but my best friend bought everything off me so i get to see them everyday still :-)

I hate hearing this, especially when the economy is to blame.

Yes it sucks and most of the time it is the economy to blame. The company I work for lost alot of business so employees are getting let go left and right but I'm one of the lucky ones that got to keep my job. Just alot of hours have been cut for me and now I'm looking for a second job so I don't have the time and extra funds to take care of so many tanks...One is enough for now. Thanks for everyones concern.

Keep the fish, except the silver arowanas and sell your IS F.

IS F is too ballin you gotta keep that beast! i only have 1 240 gallon tank and its divided into 2 and i made my sump able to breed some fish. so i have 3 tanks in one im sure if you need some room you can figure something out. good luck with finding another job!

Ugh, I hate when tough times makes us abandon the things we love, less things to help us through the tough times... a lousy cycle!

Thanks guys. Like what tigrey quoted yes I love the ISF too much to let it go. But if the time is in need of desperate measures then I would let it go. At least some of my fish gets a mansion to live in now. I'm pretty sure my RTG will love it's new home. Also the 450 will look alot nicer because I'm throwing in the black substrate and the driftwood that was from the 225g. Also my friend is hooking me up with some plants so I'm gonna do a bit of aquascaping on it. So in the end maintaining 1 nice large tank is much easier then maintaining 2.
