Sad way to start the day

Long story short, my 23" Arowana was found dead on the floor in a corner 5' from it's tank this morning. I forgot to put the weights back down on the lids last night after feeding, and this is what happened. This is such a huge loss and I'm incredibly sad and frustrated. Happy New Years to me

sorry for your lost. This day is horrible many threads about dead fish today. I also had a fish that died today ... bad year for fish

Sorry too hear of the loss, we all love our pet's very much and we know they are going too die one day, and when it happens it hurt's but it really sucks the most when they die young, take care, Michael.

I had him in a 220 (7'x2'x25"), and was about to start making some calls here soon about maybe finding him a new home in a 5,000g, because I figured that in the next year or two he may begin to start getting cramped. But, looks like that won't be necessary.
