I woke up one morning and came down stairs to feed Mr. Fluffy, my 11 inch wolf fish. I've been doing this ever since i got him. Anyways, this time Mr. Fluffy wasn't there. At first i thought he was jsut hiding in his cave. But, when i looke din there he wasn't there either. I started to panic. I had no idea where he could've gone. Only way he could've gotten out was through the little gap where the tubing for filtering and aeration was. I'm still puzzled how he could fit through that small gap, but anyways i gues he managed to slip out. I found mr Fluffy all dried up under my couch about 10 feet away. I was devastated. He was my favorite fish. Kind of sounds corny but i watched wolf fishes on youtube and been to almsot every wolf fish forums on the net, and the day i got my dream fish came true i was so happy. but now, he died. Mr. Fluffy meant so much to me. He wasn't like other wolf fishes. He was the biggest woos ever. He'd swim away from blood parrots 1/3 his size. Also, on top of that to keep a wolf fish was my dream two years back. When i finally got him i was so happy.
Anyways i guess it was his time =[. R.I.P. Fluffyyyy!!!!! here some pic of him before he passed...
But theres more!!!!!!!! Its been two weeks now...... My dad came home today with a bag. I thought it was some guppies for my Oscar in my other tank, but it wasn't! It was another wolf fishhhh!!!!!!! My dad actually called about eveyr single pet shop in long island and until he found one he didn't give up. He drove 2 hours to get this little guy. This one is sooo cute. He's about 4 inches and ferocious. As soon as he hit the tank water he'd swim around freely, unlike Mr. Fluffy when i got him he darted straight for the enarest hiding spot. Even after about 10 minutes the new guy snagged a minnow! My dad knew always how to cheer me up. THANKS DAD! =] Heres some pic of the little guy=]
Btw i ahven't named him anything yet. Any suggestions? =]
