Hey MFK I came across this craigslist add of a guy selling his arowana he is selling his entire 10 gallon, that's right 10 gallon setup for $40. He calls it a hatch back arowana. I feel so bad for this fish. This means that we as a whole need to educate the new commers more so that crap like this dosent happen. I'm surprised this arowana isn't dead yet.

I think Dave was being sarcastic...lol. Anyways this is very very sad whenever I think of this I think of myself being locked in a small bathroom for years... It really makes me think about this hobby and how people can be so clueless and stubborn. I know most the keepers here a reasonable but this just makes my stomach hurt ��������

Man that's a nice little tank for $40... wish he was by me!!! But I can assure you the fish having a messed up back has nothing to do with the size of the tank... As sad as that is!!

Just spoke with the guy and asked how much he wants for only the arowana he said $25 so anyone wants it let me know he is in pomona. The arowana deserves better but to say the truth I'd rather go buy a perfectly healthy one than get this one for $25.
