72x18 stand/tank sitting on carpet approx. 4" from wall leaned forward approx. 3/16". Home Depot had 3" x 4" samples of hardwood flooring that was 3/16" thick.

I put one of these under each of the two front feet, and it leveled everything out almost perfectly.

Does this sound safe to fill, or is there something else I should do?

Check the leveling as your filling the tank you can just eye the water level line or use a level.

how much difference in the measurements is acceptable? as in is as little as 1/16" too much or is up to like 3/8" ok? Filling my 125 also and no more than 1/8 difference in measurements, so I think i will be ok, but figured it would be good to check before I add all the water and sand weight...

Im going to try tonight. As soon as I call my insurance agent and see if I can get aquarium falling coverage. :)

I dont know how much is ok so Im trying for none. But I know if you have any twisting at all (2 dif measurements on 2 did sides) do NOT fill your tank.
