Hi all
I have used the search function and found a few topics on clown loaches with PBass. Though I was wondering what you cichla experts think is a safe size for loaches to be housed with PBass.

I am wanting to add some juvenile PBass into my display tank. I have 10 clown loaches in there that are about 5-6 inches long. I also have a PBass in a grow out that is the same length 6 inches. I know the PBass grow a lot faster.

Is there a minimum size that clown loaches should be before adding PBass?

Or will loaches always be food? As I cannot easily get the loaches out (would be a massive task to get any fish out of the tank)

Thanks guys.

I think they'll be fine as long as there isnt a huge size difference. If they start at the same size with each other then they wont be viewed as food. Also would be beneficial to get them on pellets instead of feeding live.

Yeah my current one only eats pellets. Don't like feeding live. Can be too risky. I was wondering if introducing them at similar sizes they won't view as food when larger...
