I HAVE READ ALOT OF OPINIONS ON THE SAFE USE OF THIS SILICONE.

No, no no. The "Mildew Resistent" is a dead giveaway that there are chemicals in that Silicone that are used to kill/reists Mildew. This is Bathroom & Shower Silicone. The aquarium-safe Silicone is Window & Door, or Window and Something. Bottom line is, it's deifnately not aquarium safe.

Home Depot has it for cheaper. It's Window & Door (GE II) Silicone. NOT Bathroom & Shower.

GE's Window and door type 1 or 2 will work, but again you must look for the mildew resistant stuff. If that is what they have you can't use it. Home depot, all the ones I've been to, only carries the mildew stuff. Ace window and door will work also. Any silicone that is 100% pure, and has no additives will work.
