safe salt level in PPM for clown loach.

Got a 12" Distichodus Sexfasciatus today. He got banged up on the way out. I want to salt the tank but there is a clown loach in there. What is a safe salt level in PPM. for the C/L. Thanks
 
I have been treating my tank with 1 Tablespoon per 5 gallons of water for the past month; I have 17 clown loaches and they all appear to be doing fine.

I have done this several times to treat Ick outbreaks and I have yet to lose a clown loach. Disclaimer: I'm just sharing my experience...
