Hola everyone :)

I have a question for my near future setup about filtration..i hope i will ask in that way you will understand what i would like to know :)

My glass tank will have 3 canister filters..every filter will have its own power source and will be placed in a box in case of leaking.. So i would like to know - is there some sort of device that would make this - if there would be a leak from filter, sensor or switch on bottom of box where filter will stand would close walves on in&out hoses of filter and shutdown power on that filter..hope its not too complicated..so i need a device that contains walves, switch and ability to close walves and shut down power :)

Much cheaper and easier just to replace your orings once a year.

What you want is considered a control loop system. These systems would require simple logic to run. Unfortunately, an actuated system that can turn filter valves on/off is cost-restrictive and would require routine maintenance and inspections.

Your best bet would be to incorporate one-way flow valves in your canister lines to prevent siphoning, install electrical wet boxes with GFCI (modern bathroom socket fixture with added wet box over it)(also make sure your cord maintain a drop loop as extra insurance against water intrusion), and check your O-rings during filter cleaning (keep a spare handy if you have to make a change.
