Safe to put these two together?

I just picked up my first Delhezi, and the little guy is about 4" long. Would it be safe (as in: not food) if I tried to keep it with my only other Poly, my 8" Senegalis?

I'm going to work on temp housing while I busy myself acclimating, just in case.

You should be OK. The 9+" Retro my wife just picked up for me has been in the LFS tank with 3-3.5" Sens for over a week and never bothered them, but every fis is different.

i think youll be fine as long as you provide hiding spots for the lil' guy - i had a 3.5" del with a 4 poly's over 10"!!!!!!!!!! when i brought the little one home i thought to myself "this is gonna be food!" - it looked bigger in the lfs lol. however he grew up and is now knocking on 10" itself. no problems just keep them well fed.

It'll have to manage in a breeding net until I can set up better accommodations tomorrow. I'm not risking this little guy. So happy to finally have one.
