Safe to use this media?

Its made of polyester fiber. The one that I have is similar to the one in the link but mine is from homedepot and its made of polyester fibers. I was reading through the package and its doesn't say if its toxic or not. Planning on using it for my pond filter.

i use quilt batting.. same stuff. just make sure you get unfragrenced quilt batting.

I got the one from homedepot primarily to be used as a snow decor. Its non franganced as well. So this is 100% safe?
